What's to do?

Place of Refuge, Honaunau

Honaunau is a traditional Hawaiian sacred village, restored to look like it did hundreds of years ago.Historic Pu`uhonau O' Honaunau - the City of Refuge, is just a short drive away as is the spectacular Kealakekua Bay - the Gateway to the Gods, where Captain James Cook first sailed upon the Hawaiian Islands in 1778 and met his fate a half year later.
